I was in a car accident that totaled my vehicle.  When I decided to purchase a new vehicle, it was important to me that the vehicle be exactly what I wanted, right down to the color and options.  I contacted a few dealers and described my situation.  The dealers were very eager to assist me.  The dealer that I began to work with said that he did not have the color of car that I wanted, but that he would locate the car and do a dealer trade for me.  Everything seemed to be going well, so we began to work out a price.  We came to an agreement that if he could get the car I wanted, I would pay 500.00 over invoice.  He called me the next day to say that he had it.  When I got to the dealership, they wheeled a car out to me that was not the color I wanted and the salesman told me that this was a "better color" for me.  When I explained that I was not willing to compromise what I wanted, he then told me that I would have to be willing to "pay" for getting that car.  I was so frustrated that I left the dealership.  While explaining my frustration to a good friend, he advised me to use a broker and found Bob Peralta's service.  It was the best decision I made.  Instantly the pressure of buying my car was off.  The service was so professional, explaining each step of the process.  Bob was able to find my car, exactly as I wanted and even negotiated a better price than I did.  It was the best 50.00 I have ever spent.. and I would have paid much more for a service of this quality.  I would have assumed that only the rich and fabulous could afford this type of service.  Bob made me feel rich and fabulous.  If you are thinking about calling, don't think.. do it!  It's worth every penny!  Patrick in the Los Angeles, California area, commenting on the purchase of a new  Honda Accord EXL.

Toyota New Car Auto Brokers pre-arranged sale of a New 2005 Toyota Prius Hybrid.

I searched for a broker probably for a few reasons. First, I felt that even if I would be charged a fee, I was under the assumption that a broker has much more knowledge of how a car is purchased and could potentially save me money on purchasing a car. Secondly, I felt that my time is extremely limited for shopping different dealerships and it is worth any fee for this service alone. Thirdly, I felt that the stress of dealing at dealerships with swarms of salespeople is a good thing to avoid after some initial shopping for models/brands. I was told from the beginning that I could not purchase my selected car at a discount due to supply and demand. I feel that my decision to go ahead and purchase the car I selected was justified and that the broker explained the logic behind the non-discounted pricing to my satisfaction. Bob was very helpful during my transaction and well-organized, preparing me in advance of every step that needed to be taken to purchase the car. Everything went like clockwork and I'd happily run my next request through Bob Peralta, since from the get-go he advises the customer that he'll find you a price and you can either accept it or reject. The $50 research fee seems to be a great deal for Bob's time and effort.
